What is STATA?
• Is a command-driven statistical package for statistical analyses, data management, and graphic presentations.
• designed for researchers in the fields of econometrics, social science, and biostatistics

STATA can also use to analyze the following:
o Panel and Survey Data Analysis
o Discrete and Limited Dependent Variable Analysis
o Maximum Likelihood Estimation
o Regression Analysis and Regression Diagnostics
o Data Management and Transformation.

The STATA has five(5) major windows as follows:

1. Command Window
   

2. Result Windows
   

3. Review Window
   

4. Variables Windows
   

5. Properties Windows
