During May 2019, we travelled to Bulgaria as a group from the Indian Fragrance and Flavors Association on a study tour. We had 15 delegates. As you can see, the trolleys transporting biomass are immediately fed with steam and oil gathered above. Total oil distillation takes 4 hours. Separate slices are kept apart. Their composition is then examined and marketed as a result. Greater lavandulyl acetate cuts command higher pricing. Oil yields range from 50 to 70 kg per acre. The cost of land ranges from 3 to 6 lakhs per acre. They also receive EU agriculture subsidies.
