Hello to all travelers, I would like to tell you how I spent my weekend from Salerno, an important tourist resort in Campania, to Procida, the capital of culture in 2022.
I reached Salerno by train with the Frecciarossa.
I knew of my friends who have a boat, so I thought about taking their boat to Ischia, which would be my first experience on a sailing boat.
I realized that it is a good experience if the sea is not rough, otherwise it is really dangerous for those suffering from seasickness to travel by sailboat, but in about an hour we arrived on the island of Ischia, one of the islands most beautiful and interesting of Campania.
Observing an island from a boat is a completely different point of view and one appreciates it much more.
Obviously together with my friends we stayed in a bed and breakfast that I found with a super discount on Booking and since we had arrived almost at night we decided the next day to take a naturalistic excursion on the island of Ischia, I'm not a super lover of archaeological sites when I go to these more naturalistic places I try to enjoy these pristine parts of the places I visit.
We could not resist the scents that arrived from the various restaurants so we stopped in one of these to taste something good I practically had a first course of spaghetti and clams, a specialty of the area that the waiter recommended.
I was certainly struck by the beautiful sea and the various shades it had, sometimes it is not necessary to go so far to find it.
The next day, when we were fresh and rested, we took the boat and went to Procida, which has become famous thanks to the many films that have been shot on the island.
We can say that the beauty of this island is the fact that it manages to combine splendid natural landscapes with very historical places, but the strong point remains the beautiful sea. Unfortunately it is less known in the world than Capri and Ischia, but it is definitely worth a visit.
