Autism affects over 200,000 boys and girls in the United States each year. My youngest brother was diagnosed with autism before the age of 1. He was born at 32 weeks gestation and weighed 1lb 4oz and was only 11 inches long. Thankfully due to modern technology and advanced medicine my brother is still here today.
