Good Day Hiveans from here..
What if you could go back to school and choose any subject in the world not because it would get you a job, but simply because you genuinely wanted to understand it?
For me, I wouldn't hesitate for long.I would choose Astrology.
I've always found it fascinating how people have looked at the sky for centuries and tried to understand the connection between celestial movements, human experiences, personality, and the different seasons of life.
I know astrology can be a controversial subject. Some people see it as entertainment, while others approach it as a spiritual or symbolic system. For me, the attraction is the opportunity to learn it properly rather than relying on random zodiac posts on social media.
If I had the time and finances, I would take a proper course that teaches the foundations of astrology_birth charts, planets, houses, signs, aspects, transits, and how all these elements are interpreted together.
I wouldn't want to simply memorize that Aries is bold or Cancer is emotional.
I would want to understand why astrologers interpret a particular chart in a certain way.
How would I use the knowledge?
First, I would use it for self-reflection.
Studying my own birth chart could give me another framework for examining my personality, strengths, challenges, patterns, relationships, ambitions, and the different phases of my life.
Secondly, I would use the knowledge to understand people better.
Not to put people into boxes based on their zodiac signs, but to appreciate that everyone has different tendencies, motivations, and ways of experiencing life.
Thirdly, I wold also love to monetize it.
I would also love to explore astrology from a historical and cultural perspective how different civilizations developed their own ways of observing the heavens and giving meaning to celestial patterns.
Eventually, I could even share what I learn through writing and content creation. Perhaps I could create beginner-friendly astrology content that helps curious people understand birth charts without making everything sound complicated.
Most importantly, I would approach it with an open but critical mind.
Learning something doesn't necessarily mean accepting every claim associated with it. Sometimes, education is simply about becoming knowledgeable enough to form your own informed perspective.
And that's exactly why I would love to study astrology.
