I feel fortunate to be able to live in a country so beautiful and full of nature with an enviable climate and, to be able to meet so many species of insects, some harmless and others not so much but it is truly amazing to have the opportunity to see and even more power capture it in photographs.
Me siento afortunada de poder vivir en un país tan bello y lleno de naturaleza con un clima envidiable y, poder conocer a tantas y tantas especies de insectos, algunos inofensivos y otros no tanto pero es verdaderamente asombroso tener la oportunidad de ver y más aún poder plasmarlo en fotografías.
This set of photographs are about some macro that I made in the garden of my house, one day cleaning the plants and arranging pots I could see a small jumping spider that made its home a small plant of very striking flowers that are visited for a infinity of flying insects for the honey and pollen, which makes it a perfect home for our little friend.
Este conjunto de fotografías se tratan de unas macro que realice en el jardín de mi casa, un día limpiando las plantas y acomodando macetas pude observar una pequeña araña saltarina que hacía su hogar una pequeña planta de flores muy llamativas que son visitadas por infinidad de insectos voladores por la miel y el polen, lo que la hace un hogar perfecto para nuestra pequeña amiga.
I was able to catch her taking a small snack, a fly that she already had among her jaws, I went as close as I could to be able to capture our little friend and her breakfast in detail.
Pude captarla tomando un pequeño refrigerio, una mosca que ya tenía entre sus fauces, me acerqué lo más que pude para poder captar a detalle a nuestra pequeña amiga y a su desayuno.
In some shots I could catch her staring at the camera, I was amazed since the fly is more larger than her, but it is clear that the jumping spiders are experts in the hunt.
En algunas tomas la pude captar mirando fijamente hacia la cámara, quedé asombrada ya que la mosca es de un tamaño mayor a ella, pero esta claro que las saltarinas son expertas en la caza.
