HELLO EVERYONE,
The sea means a different feeling to me. Chittagong is my main district on this sea shore. And Chittagong district is my own district. I grew up in this district and spent a lot of my life in Dhaka. Some distance from Chittagong, this beach is called Patenga Beach. And there is almost always a crowd of tourists here. We went there several months ago with my whole family. Basically I went there with my husband and my daughter to spend a very nice moment. I still remember the day was our Friday. And this Friday I will never forget that day there were two events in my life. One is that we go for a walk there and another is that an uncle of my area had an accident due to which this day will be memorable for me.
I went out in the afternoon. It was almost Ashad month due to which there were many clouds in the sky and it was raining. Since several days but that day we realized that it might not rain so we went out to see the sea. Especially my little daughter was very excited as she has visited the place several times. I have been there many times since my childhood. First we got ready in a hurry. Everyone got ready and we had our own car in which we went there. I told the driver that there is no problem, you stay today, we will come around ourselves. The driver greeted us and congratulated us on our journey. I packed a lot of things for my daughter in my bag and in the car that she might need on the road or come in handy at the beach. He told me many times when to leave in the morning.
But I was almost too tired to let him comfort me until it was late afternoon. Then the time came and we started the journey by car. First, we went to Cox's Bazar by car. On the way, we saw some beautiful things, including Kaltala Junction. Where there are many statues of beautiful fishes. Which are really amazing. My daughter was clapping her hands very well after seeing them but she has grown up a lot and we were all laughing to see her happy. Because she got so emotional she told me to bring the fish to me. But it's not possible. For us. A statue that was on the side of the road. As we drove along, we crossed some big bridges in Cox's Bazar. They were really amazing to see. I loved seeing the many trawlers and steamers going through the river under the bridge. It's like eye contact all around. In our country basically there is not much to see in North Bengal. And in this South Bengal there is nothing but the sea.
Then came our moment when we went to the beach. After going to the beach we got out of the car. We got out of the car and took out some things that we needed. Then I put my bags and other things in my car and we three walked far near the sea. My daughter was playing there on the sand and I put her there on the sand. But we both husband and wife went to touch the sea water with our feet and hands. Then we went quite far. I went down to my knees in the sea. But I like the sea quite a lot, although many people are quite afraid of it. But since I have been living here since childhood, these things do not matter much to me.
As you can see in my selfie, there are some big mountains in the background. Deep sea in front. Which is the only sea of Bangladesh, its name is Bay of Bengal. And around this Bay of Bengal there are many history and traditions of our country. One thing I was surprised about there is that maybe this place is crowded because it's a Friday. But there was no crowd that day. Our country is located around this sea. It was almost evening when we were there. We spent a long time there. In the evening when it rained we stayed inside the car and we went on the way to the city. We basically stayed there that day. We spend a very nice moment there. That will be memorable to me.
