The lost generation is a concept which I have come up with to describe what has become the majority of the current generation in these United States. While many of this generation are literally psychologically lost, others are lost to mind capture, materialism, vanity, drugs, apathy, and poor frame of reference. The lost generation lines up roughly with the tail end of what is called 'generation X' and the 'millenials.'
While the causes for this behavior are both numerous and varied, we will attempt to define them one by one via different articles and media. This will inevitably include personal life experiences, stories, wisdom, and also the culmination of various forms of research. Important to the proper digestion of this material is a functional understanding of the plane of cause and effect, history, psychology, as well as philosophy. Sprinkled into the project will be real life primers and introductions to important core know how that this group has missed from their parents and debauched culture.
I greatly look forward to getting found together with those of you who are currently lost.
As a teen, I was a stubborn and proud know it all... that had to learn all my lessons the hard way. What I saw on that journey was despair; And when I confronted my demons, I returned to a society that was largely in disarray for different reasons. If what I have learned can benefit one addict, one lost teen, one confused young adult, or an adult who chased materialism their entire life, then it will all be worth it.
Even for the most depressed soul, the gift of life is unlike any other.
About the author:
The Lost Generation is an individual who grew up in unique circumstances with a multitude of life experiences. He has been everything from 'country boy' son(and child laborer), to drug-addled streetwise survivor, to 'middle class' after being successful in his field of electronics. During his time living the fast life to cover over the pain of a missing childhood, Lost has at times lived in trailer parks, under bridges, in vehicles, and in the inner city ghetto. During his time as a child, he lived in the country and now currently resides in a middle class neighborhood. These experiences have brought him into contact with the true human element of all races, colors, creeds, and persuasions. In addition, he has actually experienced various socio-economic strata and conversed with the denizens of the same.
