This is the first capt of a tutorial which will explain how to use an Excel Workbook to work with the Steem Blockchain

This tutorial will contain initially 3 chapters

• Asynchronous http calls to teem nodes
• Process of JSON data from requests
• Launching of signed transacrions using Steemconnect

We will follow the instructions given in dailydoseofexcel.com to create a script which will query a steem node to get info related to an account from the Blockchain

This script could be called later from an Excel worksheet interface like this simple one

Once we get the data from the api and process the JSON results , we will eventually create an Excel Dashboard to manage one or more steem Accounts
