There are those who feel a little intimidated by the awesome qualities of Jehovah. They fear that God is so high that they can never get close to him or if they want to care. Is it correct is it an idea? The bible teaches the opposite, since it affirms that jehovah "is not very far from each one of us" (facts 17.27) even makes us this invitation. "Approach God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4: 8).
How can you approach the creator? To begin with, do not stop doing what you are doing right now: learn everything you can about God. Jesus said: "This means eternal life, that they are acquiring knowledge of you, the only true god, and of him whom you sent, Jesus Christ" (John 17: 3). Indeed, as the bible teaches, knowledge and Jehovah and Jesus leads to "eternal life." We already live "God is love" (1 John 4:16). But jehovah has many other qualities, all beautiful and attractive. For example the bible that is "merciful and benevolent, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and truth" (Exodus 34: 6).
He is a god "good and ready to forgive" (Psalm 86: 5). He is patient (2 Peter 3: 9). It is loyal (relief 15.4). As you continue to read the Bible, you will see that Jehovah has demonstrated these attractive qualities and many more.
It is true that we can not see God, for he is a spirit (John 1:18, 4:24, 1 Timothy 1:17). However, the Bible explains how it is, as the psalmist said, you can complete the pleasantness of Jehovah "(Psalm 27: 4, Romans 1:20). The more you learn about him, the more real you will be to him, the more reasons he will have to love him, and to get close to him.
Little by little, we will understand why the Bible encourages us to see him as our father (Matthew 6: 9). He not only gave his life but also wants us to live it in the best way possible, just as every good father wants for his children (Psalm 26.9). ) The Bible also teaches that human beings can be friends of Jehovah (James 2:23). Imagine: you can be friends with the creator of the universe! When I learn more about the Bible, perhaps there are people who with good intentions advise them to stop studying it. Maybe they do it because they worry that you change your belief. But do not let anyone prevent you from cultivating friendship with God, the best friendship you can have.
Logically, open things that you will not understand at first. But do not be afraid to ask for help, Jesus said it is good to humble yourself, like a child (Matthew 18: 2-4).

God wants you to find answers in fact the Bible speaks very well of certain people of antiquity who had the intense desire to know God for that reason, carefully examined the scriptures and saw that what he was learning was the truth (facts 17:11).
