I feel kinda lousy today, so I don't have much in me to write, but I want to weigh in about the Loreshaper Games release schedule for the next year or so (as planned).
Because I'm doing freelancing now, I don't have as much time to work on my own games.
I'm thinking as a result to divide the year into trimesters and set each to a particular purpose:
My goal is to focus on Genship Exiles; I think I can get it done by March, though we'll see.
Right now velotha's flock is both a pride and a shame; I never finished the advanced player's guide (the rules are finished, but I never finalized it), and I think I want to make a prose version to get around some of the stupid free-verse issues. Also, while I like using the very old art and poems in-line (the mood poems will definitely stay), I think I might commission a cover for it.
I think this could be done in May or June.
Othenar, most likely. This might run all the way to the end of the year.
Hwaet's not here, in part because I'm just not feeling it well. I think the concept I've scratched out is good, but it's just lacking in any "wow" factor. I think it could fit in wherever, once I get a good idea of what will make it actually mechanically work.
I'm also thinking I might do small monthly games starting in February. Not sure exactly how/what.
I'm also slowing down release schedules because I'm going to try and write a book or two that isn't a game this year; push myself to more diligently explore a topic rather than the shallow daily posts I usually do.
