Greetings boys, how are you? I am very well thanks to God, today I come to brighten up your day again, or it is what I intend to achieve, this time choosing a new theme, the past publications were of "Frozen" now it is the turn of "Moana" and how not? I love Disney movies, particularly this one, it has an even greater meaning, since it was one of the last movies I could see and share with my friends in my beloved Venezuela, they were good moments I lived there, with much affection I will explain step by step how I got the final result. Without further ado, let's get started.
Saludos chicos, ¿Cómo están? Yo muy bien gracias a Dios, hoy vengo a alegrarles nuevamente el día, o es lo que pretendo lograr, esta vez eligiendo una nueva temática, las publicaciones pasadas fueron de “Frozen” ahora le toca el turno de “Moana” y ¿cómo no?, me encantan las películas de Disney, en particular esta, tiene un significado aun mayor, ya que fue una de las últimas películas que pude ver y compartir con mis amistades en mi querida Venezuela, fueron buenos momentos que viví allá, con mucho cariño explicare el paso a paso de como obtuve el resultado final. Sin más que decir empecemos.
For the sketch I start by making guide lines, here I shape Moana's character, the oar he uses and the ocean represented in a wave.
Para el boceto empiezo realizando líneas guías, acá le doy forma al personaje de Moana, el remo que usa y al océano representado en una ola.
Once I have the sketch ready, I proceed to refine the whole figure, detailing each part of the drawing, but leaving the ocean aside for later.
Una vez teniendo listo el boceto, procedo a refinar toda la figura, detallando cada parte del dibujo, pero dejando de lado al océano para después.
Now using the marker brush, and being careful not to get out of the lines I apply the color to each part of the figure, and with the airbrush I put some blush to the cheeks.
Ahora usando el pincel rotulador, y teniendo cuidado de no salirme de las líneas aplico el color a cada parte de la figura, y con el aerógrafo coloco un poco de rubor a las mejillas.
I proceed to place the shadows, for this I take a little darker color and I apply softly these shadows using the airbrush. In this step I take advantage to place the texture and design to the clothing.
Procedo a colocar las sombras, para esto tomo un color un poco más oscuro y aplico suavemente dichas sombras usando el pincel aerógrafo. En este paso aprovecho a colocar la textura y diseño a la vestimenta.
With the marker brush at low opacity, I apply small flashes of brightness, where I consider that the light reaches the character. A little bit on the hair, face, dress and paddle, I refine certain areas using the airbrush to create a smooth gradient.
Con el pincel rotulador a baja opacidad, voy aplicando pequeños destellos de brillo, donde considero que la luz llega al personaje. Un poco en el cabello, rostro, vestido y remo, afino ciertas zonas usando el pincel aerógrafo para crear un suave degradado.
For the background we will use the ocean represented in a wave, helping us with the watercolor brush to shape the wave, using different shades of blue and white, fusing the colors together.
Para el fondo usaremos al océano representado en una ola, ayudándonos con el pincel acuarela damos forma a la ola, usando diferentes tonalidades de azul y blanco, fundiendo los colores entre sí.
Finally to finish the drawing we put some details, we designed several bluish bubbles wrapping the crest of the wave, to give a foam effect to it, and we put a wooden texture to the paddle.
Finalmente para terminar el dibujo colocamos ciertos detalles, diseñamos varias burbujas azuladas envolviendo la cresta de la ola, para dar un efecto de espuma a la misma, y colocamos una textura de madera al remo.

- Lápiz Capacitivo (Stylus).
- Programa Ibis Paint X.
- Pinceles: Lapiz, Aerografo, Acuarela, Rotulador.
