Greetings dear friends of Hive, it is nice to be here once again. In the last few days I have seen fabulous entrances here and this fills me with joy.
My creative task today is oil-based lamps. Electrical problems in Venezuela are more common every day.
And sometimes buying candles becomes difficult, either because we do not comply or because we forget.
So I decided to make these oil-based lamps to be ready at home. And I wanted to share them with you.
We take the bulb and take off the tip, to remove the material that they carry inside and leave it empty.
Once this is done, I open a hole in the sheet, place a piece of aluminum and pass the cotton wick.
With the aluminum rod I will make the base of my lamp, with the help of a glass I will give it some shapes.
Once the bases are finished, I place the light bulbs on top, make the oil and put the plates with the wicks.
We already have our oil-based lamps ready, they are very practical, beautiful, hygienic and easy to move.
Do not stay in the dark anymore ... Dare to do them.
