From cotillions to big dreams the first grade adventure [Eng/Esp]
Today is Sunday, the day that should be my day of rest, but on the contrary, I find myself inspired and full of nostalgia as I prepare the cotillions for my little ones. Tomorrow will be a big day, as they end one stage in their lives and begin a new one, they are going to first grade.
This year has been an emotional journey, full of moments of joy and sadness. We have lived incredible experiences, learned a lot together and grown as people. I feel very satisfied to see how my little ones have evolved and are about to face new challenges with confidence and enthusiasm. They have already left the toys and the four spaces of the classroom, a different environment.
While I prepare these cotillions with stationery, I am transported to the moments we have shared during the year. I remember the laughter, the footprints, the projects and the lessons learned. It's amazing to see how they have grown and developed. They are not the same fearful kids that came into the classroom.
Tomorrow, in addition to cotillions, I will give them some special treats, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, rulers and other materials they will need for their new academic journey. I want to make sure they are happy and excited about what is to come.
The most important thing for me is that my little ones are happy and remember us with love. I hope these little details make them feel special and bring a touch of magic to their special day. I look forward to sharing this last one that I am sure we will enjoy to the fullest. Here is a sample of what they will look like and how much fun I have creating them.
