The plant that produces this fruit native to South America, develops in the soil as a species of rosette, composed of rustic leaves surrounded by thorns, from the central part leaves a rod that is where the pineapple is formed with a crown of leaves in the part higher.

To grow a pineapple plant in your home if you wish, or because the space is small where you live, look for a fresh pineapple as shown in the image, then remove the crown of leaves from the fruit and soak the base in water . In a few days the roots will sprout, transplant it to a container about 25 cm deep and wait for about 6 months until the fruit arrives.
