In these weekly updates we will bring fresh content to Hive, in the form of our game coding experiences; IBT is a developing PC game - the one to have future Crypto interactions.

Another great week with much progress - An updated Demo is now on the agenda.

Character development

So far IBT has been tested using the generic character that comes with the editor. As we approach another demo we are trying hard to get rid of this character and try to introduce our new character system or at least part of it. There is some fiddling around since sockets for items and character sizes are different and the items must fit them. Unfortunately, we've had a few hassles but have started to work our way around them.

Random Loot Items Complete

This week has also been about creating random loot items and containers. These items can be clay vases, chests or other various types of storage containers that look like they can store something. Not all loot items can be sold since their value isn't there, although some things may not seem valuable or have value, they may be a key ingredient for something much bigger!

Not your everyday Items

Just when you find that we have toilet paper Armour things just get even more twisted.

Remember that sock you lost in the drawer and can't remember where you put it? Also that time you put a shirt away and just can't find it? Maybe you put it somewhere else, just like these items illustrated here which can be found in containers.

And that is it for this week's update - next week will be a big week as we package this up and attempt to build the latest demo.

Cheers and enjoy our upgoats below, thanks to a ryivhnn@ryivhnn
