In these regular updates we will bring fresh content to Hive in the form of our game coding experiences; IBT is a developing PC game - the one to have future Crypto interactions.
It is getting hard to post as regular for a bit; focus is on getting the next demo out.
What lies in the ocean?
Sometimes things take a little longer than planned and we are trying our best to make a well rounded (or at least half decent game); finally after hours of hair pulling animations and settings we have managed to get a half decent boss style animation running in IBT...man we need sleep.
This creature isn't something that should be messed with and is, err... one mega nasty creature! we are so happy with how it turned out, it might even be good to go and used as the first boss creature in IBT Classic/original.
Where to host files?
Trying to find a provider for our uploads and files shares - things like our up and coming demo and for IBT community testing etc.
As the game gets bigger, so does the file storage requirements grow; the difficulties of finding a provider to store our files for the IBT community is a challenge. Yes, we can easily have STEAM as our "free" provider but would rather for now just have our Hive community (vs. Steam which is a much large gaming specific audience at a time where we are not yet ready)... Currently costs are spiraling out of control, but we are doing our best to find a provider that can support our requirements moving forward.
I have checked if you can use the names of the following companies in a post and it is lawful if it is used in good faith (as shown in the picture above). Using the logos is a little more touchy but this way is safer. hmmn which provider to use for IBT storage moving forward...
Well, that's it for this update, unfortunately unable to make the weekly posts for a bit, but hope to resume soon...Never fear, will post again soon, stay well.
