In these weekly updates we will bring fresh content to Hive, in the form of our game coding experiences; IBT is a developing PC game - the one to have future Crypto interactions.
Another important update from the IBT game building team.
Physics and Collisions
This week has been all about cleaning up maps, changing faulty meshes and fiddling with Ai. (Yeah still some stupid bugs) but this is for preparing for another upcoming demo.
Another feature we have been looking at is physics, animations to go with the physics, and the ability to pick up a rock even after you have thrown it, saved the game, reloaded, and the rock is still there. This has been mind boggling to code since we are looking for some reality in the game rather than having items re spawn giving you unlimited resources. It all about limitations in IBT. Being smart, making big decisions and using the resources you have and are going to find.
Introducing the Tiger milkweed butterflies!
Danaus, (commonly called tigers, milkweeds, monarchs, wanderers, and queens), is a butterfly in the tiger butterfly tribe. Normally they are found worldwide, including North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Indonesia and for IBT reasons, Australia. So on some of your exploring and voyages, you may come across these pesky insects. We are hoping to add blow flies very soon also. (Note butterfly size look big due to camera angle but are actually at proper scale in game!)
That's it for this week.
