To me it seemed like COVID and the war even helped Bitcoin gain more adoption, look at how many people were forced to sit at home to find alternative means to earn and found crypto
Very true, the whole situation acted as a catalyst for crypto adoption without a doubt, bringing into the space more and more users looking to earn some money. I'm just surprised we don't see whales looking to cash out and seek ''safer'' alternatives in a time as this, which is what investors who have the kind of money to move the market do during crises. This shows crypto has evolved into something bigger than just a game of speculation.
Look at how Venmo, PayPal and western financial institutions pulled out of Russia, leaving many people to discover other ways to transact, through crypto
Again, very true, and a very interesting turn of events for crypto. Cryptocurrencies combine attributes that can't be ignored and have the power to provide solutions to significant real-life problems. That's what we see at play here, and I'm surprised the fossils who run the world haven't taken an utterly hostile approach towards crypto yet.
To be honest, it's not like they can do much, but they can definitely give us a hard time enjoying our crypto wealth to the fullest.
