Of a truth, you are long overdue for so many things, and it is only a wicked and unkind person that won't consider your condition totally unpleasant.
What do you say to a praying woman who is 10 years in marriage, yet waiting on the Lord for fruitfulness?
What do you tell a dedicated and committed business man/woman who has been in business for decades, yet nothing is forthcoming, that is, the business has refused to yield the right output?
What message do you preach to a student who has been very studious, heavenly minded and hardworking, yet there is nothing to show for the labor and stress of midnight candle?
Honestly, the stress, worries and troubles of life are enough to throw one off balance thus, turn on desperation.
As an ambassador of the Almighty God, I came to understand that the ways of the Lord are not in any way compared to ours.
Also, His thought, intention and the mindset of the Lord does not have an atom of evil, and that is why I know that there is nothing secretive or unknown before Him.
He knows everything we go through by the day and He alone decides and chooses when to come to our aid, remember, no one wait on the lord and is disappointed.
Hear me, what you desperately run after to acquire will be the same thing that will dangerously shut your door against longevity.
Why are you in a haste to marry, build that house, conceive that baby, make that money and become that celebrity?
Perhaps, you are not aware, desperate people are unsecured people, they seek for what will only meet their needs for a certain time and, thereafter pass on without fulfilling the purpose for which they were created.
Desperation in its actual sense is not a sin in itself, it only becomes a sin when it is done outside the templates of God.
Listen, if at all you want to be desperate, then let your desperation be within the confines of the pros and con's of the Almighty God.
Friend, desperation only makes sense when it is in tune with what the Almighty God loves. Being desperate for the outpouring of the power of God, anointing for exploits, breaking the chains and shackles of the kingdom of darkness, winning souls for the kingdom of God, et al are worth fighting for.
Anything outside this leads no where but death and destruction. Hey, for the fact that you needed cash to keep soul, spirit and body alive, all you could think of is to employ yourself for road side slut and earn your salary, such desperation is detrimental to your living long and even to your Creator.
How about people who are desperate to become stars in the entertainment industry, they stoop so low seeking for herbalists that will fast track their journey to fame, for ladies, they sell themselves so cheap to people who has little or no help to render.
The same goes to those who are desperate to join the league of successful authors, and all they could do is to handpick other people's write ups and convert to their own.
Note: All these forms of desperation only last for a couple of season, in fact, immediate gratification kills faster than anything else in the world, therefore, endeavor to go by the saying that reads; A patient dog eat the fattest bone, wait for your time, though it may tarry but it will never pass you by.
Your faith and endurance to wait on the Lord pays off in the sense that your life will experience peace like a river and ensure comfort becomes your second nature.
