Setting Up The WAFRO Media Team To Promote The Steem Blockchain And Africa Through Videos

For a while now, we have had the WAFRO media (WAfrica entertainment wing) working in the shadows to create a lot of entertaining and informing contents to promote Africa and the Steem blockchain.

In the last three months, we've had two crowd sourced videos which include Africa Arise And Steem Is The iPhone Of Cryptocurrency. We also have the WAFRO party which happens every Sunday evening on our discord server.

All these were achieve without formally setting up a team for the WAFRO media. So, after a couple of discussion with @surfyogi and @chiama who is directing the media unit, we decided to set up a team for WAFRO media in to start operations in Abuja.

Heading the team is @chiama who has lots of passion for this kind of work. This is another example of someone living the dream on the Steem blockchain. Together with her on the team include @yungchief, @rejoiceavl and @dee-y

For now we are starting from Abuja since @chiama is physically staying there right now. But after a few production which will inform people of the kind of contents we want, we'll also allow rooms for people all over the world to send in their contribution to be featured on our blog.

Now that the team is set up, be ready to have a lot of exciting stuffs from the WAFRO Media team. We should expects promotional videos for Steem, crowd sourced videos, talk shows, round table discussions and a whole lots of other exciting stuffs. so if I were you, I would keep my eyes on the @WAfrica blog so I wont miss any of these updates.
