Thats actually a extremely unpopular opinion not many people on Steem share, especially those with skin in the game because they think the only way their Steem investment will pay off is if Bitcoin goes up and saves steem.

And im saying that Bitcoin is a pestilence that should be moved away from. Success of every single project in the space should not be dependent on the success of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin simply relies on the Greater fool theory. Pump my bags so i can dump them on someone else. That someone else buys believing there is a bigger fool then them out there they can dump on at an even higher price.
Bitcoin the way it looks right now will NEVER achieve mass adoption or be ever used in any significant and widespread manner. Its utility is extremely low and i find it to be one of the worst shitcoins out there. No matter how big it gets. No matter how big its hype machine is.
