It makes the top trending more competitive since you need to spend less disposable income to top it.

I know the seller wont make it up. They will indeed have a reduced return. But i dont think that reduction will have a significant enough impact to make curation the prefered option.
Then theres the fact that Curation initiatives like Curie pays their curators.
If you want to have curation services do their job well, you will have to pay the curators.... And that wont be cheap..

Right there is where the assumption that curation services will be made the prefered option falls apart as well..

At the end of the day, we have to see. I really dont think this will do any good, especially with MEOS knocking on the door.
