The monasteries are beautiful near Meteora, Greece! You can drive to the top of a mountain on the way to Meteora, park, and hike up to the top to see the monastery. The view from the top is stunning, and the rock formations are unusual. It's just a short hike to get to the top. Go early because it gets crowded! The hike is not too bad.
