It's funny that how many times I am scared of little things.
Like, for the first 18 years, I was never out of my hometown, then I have to join a job in a distant part of the country.
I was scared how I will survive on my own.
Now, I love travelling alone to some of the remotest parts😂
Or I had a paralysing habit of overthinking about everything, and imagining the worst case scenarios that will happen with me.
Lol, I left steemit after a few months in 2017, because I was an overthinker.
I thought what if I write daily, and someday, upset a whale, and he goes on downvoting me. All my efforts of months will go in vain. So, there is no reason to try.
Not just steemit, I was paralyzed and quit a lot of good opportunities because of overthinking and fear😖
I quit my first job, didn't join a good government employment offer, didn't move to a different country, and a lot of other bad decisions because I was completely scared inside that I won't be able to handle myself. I was scared😣
Was a completely different person back then.
Now I understand that things go bad sometimes, and turns out good othertimes.
I am still scared while doing a lot of things, but the fear stays for for a few seconds, or a few minutes at most. Then, I get back to reality, and analyze whether it is practical to go ahead or not.
