I can't remember the exact age but I think I learn chess when I was not yet in school. I always see my parents playing and even my siblings so I got interested. The problem in me is that I didn't give myself a chance to master it. Although the knowledge I have is enough to be able to teach my kids with some strategies, my youngest learned the scholar's mate or the 4-move checkmate when he was 6.
