Zealotry. It is "the excessive intolerance of opposing views."

Here's the funny thing, the very concept of "objectivity" itself, implicitly promotes demonization (zealotry/fanaticism).

And since "science" is often equated with "objectivity" the "problem" doesn't seem to be isolated to "religion".
