Spam and plagiarism are prevalent. I the last few weeks alone, Hivewatchers have dealt with 20-30 accounts posting plagiarism or copypasta spam in dBuzz.
chrisrice is very aware of this but has been refusing to do due diligence since it started a year ago in March 2020. He has also been refusing to add improvements to the app. This app is basically a copy of dlike/share-2-steem that were scamming and spamming Steemit.

It doesn't make sense. It would actually be the opposite. It would incentivize honest engagement in the platform by creating valuable content with some effort, adding value to the platform not just spamming the blockchain with useless spam.
Hive ecosystem is not Twitter. Hive is something between a blogging platform and Medium with a bit of Reddit (commenting) and the content is rewarded here. Neither Twitter nor Facebook pays you for your content.
