Actually I do consider it very dangerous. Just as Christian ideology and many other.
I look at both objectively by evaluating their scriptures' teaching (foundations of these ideologies).
These dangerous ideologies should go the same objective scrutiny as any other. Just because they are dominating ideologies, it does not mean that they should have a pass.
I consider them both "modern Nazism". They both teach about hate and/or discrimination towards those that do not believe that ideology and follow its rules. They are full of homophobia, pseudoscience, misogyny, also anti-Semitism. They are built upon ultimate slavery and obedience to the ultimate leader (in this case imaginary which probably makes it even worse).

I am not afraid of ideas and have never said that I am. What I am afraid of is the world being taken over by imbeciles even more than it already is (sorry for my direct language). Particularly now when we are facing climate disaster.

We all share this planer, one environment we are part of. It is crucial that other people around me are scientifically literate and sustainably informed because this directly improves the quality of my life and my chances of survival. Intellectual idiocy such as delusional beliefs and pseudoscience pervading around directly deteriorate lives of all of us.

To estimate what is a dangerous idea that undermines health of humanity I refer to scientific research.

"Imagine if the Catholic Church had successfully "downvoted" Galileo (or Martin Luther) for their "dangerous ideas".

It is logically fallacious argument. Catholic church was trying to destroy and silence scientific discovery. Actually the actions of Catholic church are exactly the example of dangerous ideas (Christian ideology) in action. Their actions were not driven by knowledge, facts and objective reasoning but rooted in delusional ideas.

Please do not compare cognitively deficient, scientifically illiterate imbeciles spreading covid-19, flat earth, NWO, climate change denialism conspiracy "theories and pseudoscience in general to scientific discoveries like that of Galileo :-)

These are principles of science. Science is about humble "I do not know", "We will never know everything".

I fight for science and eradicating pseudoscience should be one of social priorities as long as we don't make sure that society is scientifically literate. Pseudoscience is dangerous to everyone not just those that believe in it. It is as dangerous as someone posting Nazi/fascist ideology around social media with false facts and lies about different subjects, people and events exploiting people's poor education, ignorance and poor cognitive abilities in assessing the information, facts and general inability to recognize logical fallacies.

For now, all we can do is to fight it to be removed on social media.
It hard fight and often seems futile as social media have been taken over by pseudoscience.

As long as we do not introduce proper scientific education and teaching about scientific method and recognition of logical fallacies already to small kids (in schools and home), the society will just keep repeating the cycle of ignorance.

I am all for transforming the system of education but for now we need to fight pseudoscience.

I personally to not "believe" in anything. I just consider possibilities of existence of something according to what science has discovered so far. New scientific data arrives, I update the information. There is no belief.
