Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!

Splinterlands team just announced a new card set in the Frontier.

This new Foundation collection introduces 36 unique cards: 30 Units and 6 Rare Archons, five collectible foil types, three exclusive pack options, and a reward system that puts Frontier Ranked battles and special tournaments at the center of the chase.

These new cards will surely shake the meta in the Frontier mode and today, we'll check out the Water splinter cards in the set.

Thobee River (archon)

Thobee River is the four mana archon that does not give any buffs. The new archons cost lower in mana than the original Frontier archons but they do not grant any buffs to units.

Elbar Bravepath (common)

Elbar Bravepath is the common card. It's a three mana none attack card but it looks like a good low mana tank. At maxed level, it has an armor, four health, four speed and has Cleanse ability to cure poison or burning status. It seems like a good low mana tank but it's better placed in the back because of its Cleanse ability.

Drowned Oracle (rare)

This six mana card deals two range damage, has five health and four speed. It gains the Repair Guard ability from level two which repairs the armor of units behind her. I can already see a possible combo with Silverleaf Mage in Modern mode.

Silverleaf Mage is a Taunt unit. Drowned Oracle can help sustain her by repairing her armor, making her last longer in battle.

Bellows O'Rourke (epic)

This seven mana card can either play tank at early levels but at maxed level, he gains Opportunity ability. This makes him attack from the rear, transferring his role to a rear damage dealer. At maxed level he deals two melee damage, has three armor, six health and one speed.

Stormwarden (legendary)

Stormwarden is another card with a confusing build. It looks like a tank but it's Sneak ability makes it a back line damage dealer. It would have been better in my opinion if its abilities were for a tank instead of Sneak.

There you have it. The five cards under the Fire splinter that will add excitement in the Frontier. In my next post, I'll go over the Earth splinter.
