Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Brawl update: We finished 3rd this week, an improvement over our 5th place run last week. It was a close fight where 3rd and 4th were trying to outdo each other, so we held our ground well. Personally, I had a great outing with eight wins and only one loss!
Nice improvement in this week's brawl! We moved up from 5th to 3rd place. While we were just a few wins away from snatching 2nd, 3rd is a great result and shows we're trending in the right direction.
On a personal note, this brawl went great for me. I managed to secure eight wins against just a single loss. The overall rewards were good too. Every guild member who joined in and contributed earned 6.2k Merits and 75 SPS for their effort.
The battle ruleset was Magic Reflect. Inspite of the ruleset, the enemy fielded a magic team which got their damage returned to them. In contrast and mindful of the ruleset restriction, I fielded a team without magic and even had an anti magic archon. Doomshield Warden took the tank position for my team and sneak attacker Grove Doomblade was in second. To combo with her attacking the enemy's rear was Katrelba Gobson who deals three melee damage and has Double Strike ability. Another Sneak attacker was Husk of the Hunter. The trio comboed to decimate the enemy's rear units.
