Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Brawl update: We kept our second place ranking this week. Second place next to a top guild, Team Possbile that took first place. Personally, I had a great result with seven wins and only two losses!
We stayed at second place which is a great achievement. The first place winner had a huge lead but it's doesn't look impossible to get first place on of these days. I must say, the second to fifth place are awfully close battle. Just one point lead from second to fifth.
On a personal note, I'm proud to contribute a score of seven wins and two loss. The overall rewards were good too. Every guild member who joined in and contributed earned 6.6k Merits and 70 SPS for their effort.
This was a tough battle that I won. The ruleset included Global Warming so I turned to my trusted Earth team. I had Doomshield Warden in the frontline and in second was Quora Towershead. She can attack with melee from second position owing to the Warden's flank ability. Quora is my key card in this battle due to her healing. Sadly, Immunity does not exempt her from the burning effect so she has to rely on her healing. I had Ulundin Overseer in my team. His eleven health will greatly help in this survival ruleset. Beside him is Shiraza whose Weapons Training ability grants Ulundin Overseer and the last unit with two magic attack. The last unit was Ashveil Tactician who has Inspire ability that increase the attack of my melee units.
The enemy is very strong with Nidhoggr and Rage dragon combo. Add to that, he also had Calamity in his team. These cards combined make for a highly offense oriented team. On the other hand, the battle ruleset is about survival and the team who has more health and healing had the advantage. That strategy led to my win even though the enemy has more fire power.
