Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
The grind continues in the Modern brackets system. I just unlocked Division 6 in Silver. The climb is difficult and the competition is tough but we have to keep going on and earn glints. Though there are no SPS rewards, the glints rewards have substantially increased thus allowing me to buy more reward chests.
Anyway, here's are the rewards I received for reaching division six.
Sweet! Not only a rare card but two copies of epic Saltwraith Pirate! There's also three thousand glints included. I'm now liking this new system.

Featured Battle
This is a low mana battle so I decided to use Kavor Skarn Dragon archon combined with Death units. In tank position was one mana Halfling Refugee. He's a dependable tank in low mana battles who deals three melee damage and has six health. Next is four mana Dark Arborist. It has a couple of cool abilities aside from dealing two magic damage. It has Demoralize that debuffs the enemy melee attacks and Magic Reflect to counter magic attacks. In third position was a zero mana legendary card. It deals one melee damage and has the Opportunity ability. In fourth is my highest damage dealer in the team, eight mana Gravebrand Warlock who also has Swiftness ability to increase the team's speed. He also has the Execute ability to finish off enemies with two health and below. In fifth is the team's healer, Arachne Weaver. It deals two magic damage and also has the Scavenger ability to sustain itself. Lastly, I had a three mana unit Careless Badger. For its small mana, it deals three range damage and also has the Opportunity ability.
The enemy also had Death splinter but used six mana Foundation archon. His team had lower damage than mine but it's also decent with a legendary card included. My team's advantage in speed and higher damage prevailed and we took the victory in this battle.
