Hello world and fellow Hivers

I hope that each of you is enjoying their Sunday and relaxing a bit because tomorrow another week begins. I know that I do and the weather in my place is incredible for a walk or just to be outside in general. So I went outside to get fresh air, took my coffee, and came back to play my daily battles in Splinterlands. Today we are going to review an interesting formation that I chose for one of my battles and tbh I wasn't too optimistic before I hit the Rumble button but we are going to review all of that later. Now I want to give credit again to @splinterlands because the initiative for this post is the Share your battle Challenge! Basically each week the Splinterlands team is challenging all players to share a battle that has a specific monster or class and today we should share a battle using Dragon Class. Enjoy!

The Battle

Summoner Selection

I chose to play with a summoner that you don't see quite a lot in Wild ladder and I didn't have any experience with him until today. To be honest, I wanted to rent a new summoner and when I saw this card I thought that I could build a formation with great Speed but as you would see later that was not quite the case. Now when you compare it with Yodin Zaku, it seems that this matchup is going to be quite one-sided. Let's find out then how it did go.

Ruleset

Super Sneak: All Melee attack monsters have the sneak ability
Noxious Fumes: All monsters start the battle Poisoned
Also, we've got a mid-range Mana limit at 23 and we can't play Water and Life classes.

Teams' Formation

The first card that we are going to use in this battle is one of my all-time personal favorites; Furious Chicken. You all know this card and you also know that this one hit that tanks could win you plenty of games.

On the second place I chose the Forgotten one and as you can clearly see this is the card that I am depending on winning this battle. This is clearly MVP from the beginning because of the ability Immunity which means that it doesn't take any Poison damage. I placed it in this position because I knew that my opponent is not going to focus much on pushing the frontline either by taking advantage of the sneak ruleset or by abilities like snipe/opportunity. At the end of the day, I believe that it was a good choice.

The third place is occupied by Goblin Shaman and this card was pretty much necessary because of his cool ability Weaken which means that it reduces the Health of all enemy monsters by 1. Pretty useful ability especially when you face these types of rulesets like Noxious Fumes and Earthquakes.

On the fourth place I chose the Void Dragon and there were a number of facts that led me to pick it instead of all other choices. The first one was the high HP for the 5 Mana and the second one was the high speed which made me think that he could potentially avoid some incoming attacks in combination with my summoner.

The last card I placed on the battlefield was Naga Assassin. The major reason behind this decision was the fact that I had 2 left Mana Points available and the only card I had with more than 2HP was this card. Also, I really liked the fact that he had high speed because it could potentially avoid some incoming attacks as well.
