Hello world and fellow Hivers

Today we are going to discuss my progress in God's Unchained. The last time I wrote about this game was 15 days ago and I didn't have the time to play the game during this period. I was lucky enough to play some games for last Weekend's Event but sadly I didn't manage to complete all 18. But enough with the bad news, I've got a great discovery and it's a new deck that I constructed and performed pretty well. So as you understand I've got plenty of stuff to show you, so stick around and enjoy it!

Report from Weekend Event

2022-08-24 (2).png

As you see I managed to do 7 wins and I know that is not impressive at all but keep in mind that I played only 10 matches in total. That makes things a little more interesting and this is the reason that I am so excited about this deck. We will examine how well the deck performed in the next section. The last thing that I wanted to say is that I believe that I am going to perform a lot better in the next event and I can't wait for Friday.

This is the aggro Viking deck, that I created for the previous Weekend event and probably going to use in the next one. I should say that I played 8 more games just to have a complete Win rate for 18 games. The result was a 66.7% Winrate and it's pretty decent if you think that in some games I did some very crucial misplays and I lost a couple of games for this reason. So as you see there is a lot of synergy with the Viking race but also the main idea is to gain and maintain control over the board. Cards like Sole Survivor and Over-proof Brew are perfect to ensure that.

The rewards were not great this time because our previous deck didn't perform great but I get some pretty useful cards. I opened 3 Epic cards but nothing extraordinary, but the good thing is that my collection grows even larger and that's always a good thing!

Watch the Action!

Now you can see my latest battles from my weekend grind and watch how my deck performed against a Deception deck and a War deck! I am expecting your comments and your thoughts about the battle in the comment section! I hope you will enjoy it!

The first battle that we are going to review is against a Deception deck. As you would see I struggled a lot at the early stages to gain some leverage with the cards I played but I believe that in the fourth round (1:00) and the fifth (1:48) I cemented my position. At 5:12 there was a complete wiped out of my cards but as you will see later on, the pressure was to high for our opponent.

This is the last battle for today and it is against a War deck. In this matchup, I chose a different Hero Power because I believed that the trades are going to matter the most. You would see that I used it a lot for value trades but also for doing max damage to my opponent's face. I struggled a lot to gain the control over board in this specific battle and I did it in the sixth round (4:31) with critical help from the card Solo Survivor. You would see what happened afterward.
