Hello world and fellow Hivers

I know some of you missed me because the last couple of days I was inactive on Hive and I also believe that the majority didn't even notice that I wasn't so active but either way I'm back. I wish that I would get back with happier news but things are not going so well at GU, I don't believe that everything about the last event was terrible but the performance of my deck and the alternatives that I created were not satisfying at all. The sad part is that the deck is not so bad, but to sustain at the higher ranks, it needs cards that cost way too much right now! I don't know if this could be my last post about this Light deck because I've seen far more flexible decks at more or less the same amount of money. The goal for all my articles that I post here in the #Godsonchain community is to find low-budget decks that could help you climb up the ladder and even sustain at playing in Mythic. Until now this Light deck did that pretty well but in this current meta, I am not so sure about it. So let's review what happened during the past weekend and after that, I will wait for your comments below because I really want your feedback this time.

Report from Weekend Event

Thoughts about the results

Well, I didn't have the screenshot this time but I manage to perform 6 wins out of 18 games and the rewards I got from my last run were 2 MJ Rare & 1 MJ Epic. So it's not good but when you play at Mythic it's pretty much expected I tried to derank as I said in my last post but the deck could make any more progress neither in Diamond and not even at Gold. Currently, I am at Solar gold rank and I couldn't even reach Diamond again in time for the next event. Well, the whole situation is not easy to deal with and I think that I would proceed in searching for another solution even for this weekend's event!

Decklists

This is the variation with all the changes that we discussed in my last post but it didn't quite work because my win rate couldn't go upwards even with these changes. I tried for a couple of games but the results were pretty disappointing so eventually, I switched back to the previous form that I showed in my last post.

This is one of the most favored decks to use in this weekend's event. I really like the value for money of this deck and also I believe that gives plenty of opportunities to win a battle in a bunch of ways. Also, I would like to play with the deception class for once because I didn't invest a lot of time in this class until now. So I would inform you the next week about my results with a similar deck to this one or if it didn't perform well I would find another solution. Also, we should give credit to NOME XBORG for constructing this deck.

At least there is something good happening in my gaming life because the rewards were pretty good at this time. Well nothing truly special but I gained a pretty nice amount of Epic cards (4) and I did obtain one Legendary card (Thalia, fun fact; this legendary was the first Leg I opened from a pack in GU.)

The first thing I would like to say is a big thank you for all of your support because the number of views on youtube videos is increasing steadily. To be honest it's not that I want publicity on youtube because I'm fully into Hive but it's really good to know that someone views your work!

Against War

Well in this battle we are going to see a game that I played against a war deck and as you would see in the video I tried to gain control over the board early in the game but I struggled a lot. The decisive moment was at 2:33 because after that point I was trying constantly to catch up to my opponent. Also in the end of the video you would see the article of my friend @kstreet because I forgot to edit it 😛. I believe that he wouldn't mind this unintentional try for clout 😂

Against Deception

In this game you would see how my deck performed against a deception deck and once again I had several issues maintaining control over the board. There were plenty of trades and my opponent eliminated my whole board several times but after 05:20 I found a way to overcome it.
