Would the price of a bed really affect the sleep comfort it gives you? Style definitely isn't something to judge. If beds like that exist, it means someone likes them, there's demand, and all that. I have the simplest Japanese-style bed — low, no giant headboard, wooden. Exactly how I wanted it. As for money, I'd rather put it into bedding, pillows, blankets for different seasons. For summer, I especially recommend you to shop cooling bedsheets, even if you don't have any issues with sleep, sweating, or anything unpleasant like that. But if you're like me and always hot, with everything sticking to you, it's the best option so far.
