Messages are kind of boring already, aren’t they? How can you understand what kind of person someone is through text? I never got it. Dating sites without video chat annoyed me the most. You don’t see the person, their real appearance, emotions, facial expressions. You don’t hear the voice. The communication is strange. Overall, I almost never used dating sites. There used to be platforms like Chatroulette, then Omegle. Now I like aveola live chat on https://aveola.live/ the most, which I’d probably recommend the most. It’s like a platform for video communication, but with its own social network. You can text, you can talk live, and to me it’s a much more full experience than just sending someone a message.
