Previous expert skier Kat functions as a ski help and ski shop specialist at Bliss Mountain, where she gets ready for a Winterfest to scrounge up business for the curious town. Widowed father Ty and his girl Anna originate from New York to prepare with ski champion (and Kat's previous partner) Maddy and rapidly interface with Kat when Maddy's instructing style turns out to be excessively forceful for Anna.
