I was thinking of what to illustrate and decided to draw some simple petals just to get somethibg quick going on for me.
Here is the final result
The steps to create are easy.
You start with an outline
Then you fill in the base colors.
Then add some shadows by painting with a darker shade but of a more transparent quality. This is gotten by reducing the opacity of the color.
After doing this, I set the bland mode on my sketchbook pro app to 'screen' . And that was it :)
