According to the teaching, we were made to understand that;
1 john 5 vs 15-16; and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
Whatever we desire, before we ask he gives, so if we know that then if our brother should sin we should pray for him for change of heart.
Whenever we pray to God it should always be with a clean and forgiven heart.
Psalm 32 vs 5; I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD ; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
God is willing to forgive us all.
Let pray without season and we should avoid repeating meaningless prayer.
Prov 15 vs 8; The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD : But the prayer of the upright is his delight.
When an upright man prays, heaven hears.
Phi 4 vs 6; Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
