Hi @agmoore, thank you for sharing your response to this prompt. I often veer off the exact prompt, but we all respond as per our experience. I'm so glad you did, and so happy that the unhappy little girl found her 'place in the sun', if I can call it such! Sad how society can overlook wrongs because of position. And thank heavens for a devoted Mother as a solo parent, and also to Mrs. Birdsall.

In high school, that little girl disappeared. Or at least she went underground.

I hope she made peace with that. She was a strong little girl for sure!
