I spent at least 5 hours (if not more) on each one of these drawings. As an artist, designer, creative, patience is mandatory, crucial, fundamental to our practice. We know that time is the best way to develop the details. Nothing gets to be great, beautiful, complete without time and patience. It is a process. Remember this when you’re being hard on yourself — when you’re feeling down on yourself — for not living up to expectations and goals. You are a work in progress too.
