What a great analysis, and a crazy year!!

The most obvious change in price I've seen is petrol. It has risen by the same % as Portugal since the Iranian war. I've just heard today there's a temporary cease fire to open up the Strait, but as usual I bet the petrol prices won't fall as quick as it they've risen.

In terms of mobile plan, the market is becoming very competitive, certainly in UK. There's only a handful of carriers in each country but many rely on smaller resellers to bring in users, and their pricing can get very aggressive. I think we've pretty much hit rock bottom prices, so they just offer more data for the same price. Currently I pay £7 for 40gb that rolls over to the next month if I don't use it all. I have 76gb now!!!
