Great work in taking the initiative to start a communual garden. Have you put any word out for help, I'm sure there will be a lot of keen green fingers while would love to contribute. Or maybe keep one planter for kids so they can manage it all by themselves.

Not that I'm an expert, but I believe pumpkins grow into quite late in the season, perhaps not too late to start planting ?
