Totally agree with you, markets are much more interesting than shopping malls, I always try to go to one when I travel. I love fish, but sadly UK doesn't have that much variety despite us being an island, and I find that quite odd.

It would be great to see some of the authentic markets in your city, it sounds so interesting already!!
