Your glads are beautiful, I have some in my garden but they're not dual colour like yours. This year they've grown really tall and some went a bit wonky but they were lovely when they bloomed.
My friend gave me a few butternut squash plants the other week, he sowed too many. They're just staying to grow in my garden but like you say, it's a bit late in the season now. At least I know they will grow... my gardening track record hasn't exactly been the best.
