This has been bugging me for a long time because I still haven't responded, and I hate doing it when people make an effort to make a nice comment. Part of the reason was I keep on forgetting, and partly because I was waiting for another dinner with my family to take a video of the cleaver in action. Hope you enjoy this little video.

If you ever see it in a Chinese restaurant, they'll just go chop chop chop like my brother in law in the first video, and if they're pro enough, you should end up with even pieces of food. It's easier if there's no bones, like roast pork.

My other brother in law prefers to chop it slowly for more precision, but with the weight of the cleaver and his experience he could have still chopped the roast duck quickly like my first brother in law

I'm still thinking about getting a cleaver, or not. Maybe a smaller one, not like the ones my brother in laws have. We'll see...
