€58k is really cheap!! I went to Miera iela, per your recommendation, its a nice neighborhood and a short walk from the touristy places. And we had lunch at a eatery which was next door to the café you mentioned. It was a good hearty basic yummy local meal served by a lovely lady who didn't speak English, but we managed 😀
