In UK we can't get our government pension till we're 67, and they're talking to extend that to 68 or even 69 in future. For private pension, it's also 55 like you guys, but we also have the option to withdraw it as lump sum cash instead. It's a nice way to indulge ourselves if we want to splash out in some major spend or holiday
